HUNT INFO ALL HUNTS ARE 5 DAYS (arrive day before- depart day after) GUIDED HUNTS- ELK, MULE DEER AND BLACK BEAR Our full service guided hunts take place on prime private ranch property. This is a 100% fair chase hunt. We take a maximum of six hunters in camp per season to safely manage herd numbers and offer a quality experience for all hunters. Comfortable cabins and three home cooked meals a day ensure a pleasant stay. Our guides are experienced and well seasoned in the hunting field. We hunt 1 guide for every 2 hunters. 1 on 1 hunts are an option at an additional cost. The ranches range from 7,000 feet to 10,000 feet in elevation with a wide variety of terrain consisting of cedar and sage up through the oak brush to aspen and dark timber stands, this helps create good hunting opportunities for all seasons. We can accommodate most any hunter by way of ATV or vehicle with a wide variety of hunting methods to best suit each hunter. We harvest many quality animals on our ranches each year due to limited hunters, private land and healthy herd numbers. We will retrieve your trophy from the field, transport cape for taxidermy and meat to the local processing house. Also included is transportation from and to Montrose or Grand Junction airports. A bear may be harvested during your elk or deer hunt for a $500.00 trophy fee or we offer a guided bear hunt only as well for all weapons (best to draw the early rifle season tag, good for the whole month of Sept.). Bears of different color phases are possible. (Limited number of landowner deer tags are available for those without a tag). GUIDED- TROPHY MULE DEER HUNTS We offer a select number of trophy hunts for archery, muzzle-loader and rifle seasons. 100% fair chase on our private leases. Hunters can expect to see deer that will score in the 165-200 B.C. range. Hunts will be spot and stalk, out of tree stands or ground blinds, to best suit each hunter and to create the best opportunity to harvest. This hunt will have all the perks of our other hunts with some additional features such as 1 or 2 guides for 1 hunter (1 or 2 deer hunters only) to be hunting on the ranch that season. We will try to customize this hunt for those who are interested in this type of hunt. ( A limited number of landowner tags are available for those who did not draw a tag) Price of this hunt starts at $5,000. UNGUIDED/SEMI-GUIDED HUNTS- Elk, Mule deer and Black Bear We have several great opportunities for the do-it-yourself hunters. We have leased prime properties that will get you away from the hustle and bustle that you normally find on public lands. Our private ranches are productive properties for archery, muzzle-loader, and rifle hunters alike. New leases are generally added to our collection of of prime hunting areas as our business continues to grow. Options for your stay include RV, cabins, motels, or a comfortable tent camp depending on the ranch where you are hunting. In addition we have a couple of ranches leased for Mule Deer hunts only. These properties both hold large numbers of deer. Hunters should see 10-20 bucks a day most of the season. Ranch terrain consists of hay fields surrounded by cedar tree, pinion tree and sage brush draws with scattered oak brush. This is a wonderful opportunity for the archery and muzzle-loader hunters as well as rifle hunters alike to harvest some nice deer. We have several tree stands and ground blinds in place and can be moved when needed to maximize hunts. Hunters may stay in town (15-20 minute drive) or in RV on the ranch. Don't pass this up if your a deer hunter. Again we do have a limited number of landowner tags available for those who missed or did not draw a tag. |
